Often it is easier to get to know a locally talented artist by hearing or reading their own words.  The following are the words of talented local guitarist, Trey Geddings.

"I was born in Daytona Beach and grew up here in Flagler most of my life, at 12 years old I received my first electric guitar for Christmas, from then on I was subjected to countless hours of BB.King, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Fleetwood Mac, Styx, Ricki Lee Jones, Joe Satriani and Van Halen on long trips with my family.

In 2007 at the age of 14 I made Flagler Beach my home and honed in my skill on the guitar by endless hours of practice and skipping homework. I discovered a lifetime of love for music and discovered some of my main influences on the guitar such as, Dickey Betts, Alex Lifeson, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Warren Haynes, Duane Allman, Eddie Van Halen, Dimebag Darrell, Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Clapton, Slash and many more.
Since then I have been blessed to have done so many great things with some great people, I have had the opportunity to have shared the stage with, Bryan Bassett of Foghat, Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Crouch, Don Brewer Of Grand Funk and Silver Bullet Band.

Currently I play in 2 original groups, "Big Logic and the Truth Serum" as well as "Southern Fried Chill". The Big logic line up is Justin Gurnsey, Jesse Berthlof, Ben Fried, and myself. Southern Fried Chill's line up is Mike Chandler, Danny Padgett, and myself. Both groups are in the studio so be sure to check in with us on Facebook for updates on the Album and show dates.

I'm really excited for what the future holds its been a great 10 year musical journey and I'm looking forward to 10 more of great music.

I have been blessed to be apart of this community, I would like to thank, Flagler Magazine, Bill Whedbee,Mom and Dad, Justin Gurnsey, Mike Chandler, Momma C, Jimmi Soldo, Capt Nick, James Crouch, My Grandmother Rosa, Ken Arnold, Pepper Pyle, Andrew Bosscher, Jesse Berthlof, Harold "Toby" Fletcher, Phyllis Barnett, Michelle Brown, Vern Shank and most Importantly the Flagler Community for all the love and support over the years and many of  lessons you've all taught me.
