"Sand Tunes with Sharon and Jim" is the musical blending of  2 people that have been together for more than 20 years and that love the same types of music and each other. Sharon and Jim started performing together about 5 years ago and perform 60-70 shows a year. They have played rooms as small as 20 person capacity to entertaining in lounges on cruise ships. Jim Lamb began singing in Junior High School as a solo guitarist/ vocalist. Over the years Jim was in bands with names such as Sundown, Nirvana(1972!), Casino Boogie, Trenchtown, Lone Walter, Silver Eagle, and The McDonough Rhythm Section. He has appeared on stage as a substitute member of Those Guys and The Not Brothers. As a member of Lone Walter, he opened for Three Dog Night, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, and Banks and Shane and as a solo performer he has opened for the legendary Leon Russell on three separate dates. Sharon Smith (who is Jim's soul mate, right hand girl, percussionist and vocalist) and he like to perform songs that we all remember but not the ones that were played every 30 minutes! Sharon has had the groove in her soul since she could walk and her smile and energy add the spice to mix to make each song an experience! They like to take a song and put their own twist to it and give an old song a new life! Come on out and catch one of their shows and enjoy "The Songs You Grew Up Singing"! They also play their own Florida coastal tunes about life, dreams, sun, sand, water, and love.  The term "Trop Rock" is how some folks would describe their music and outlook on music. The new CD "Ghost Hunt" is available. It is a collection of 10 tunes that show a diverse range of taste and style. They would love to include you in their fan base and keep you informed about their shows and what's happening, so sign up as a fan and they will send you automatic notices of upcoming shows!
